Student Life Safety encompasses a variety of aspects within the college life.

Title IX : Takes action

Taking action to stop sexual misconduct; to remedy it’s effects by providing support and appropriate referral services for recipients of the behavior; and to prevent recurrences. Educating individuals and promoting discussions of interpersonal abuse and violence, as well as conducting impartial investigations of all reports / notices of sexual misconduct through a fair, equitable and prompt procedure. Investigations are independent of and separate from law enforcement investigations of criminal activity.

Behavior Intervention Team (BIT) : Support and Early Intervention

BIT is a group that meets regularly to ensure that it is supporting it’s target audience of students, employees, faculty, and staff. BIT is designed to be engaged in the early intervention and support that prevents a behavioral concern from rising to the level of a threat or a crisis.
