The Counseling & Testing Center at The University of Akron offers free, confidential support for currently enrolled students. Whether you’re dealing with stress, anxiety, or personal challenges, our caring professionals are here to help. Individual and group counseling options are available.

Walk-In Intake Hours

  • Monday Tuesday Wednesday and Friday: 9am-11am
  • Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday and Friday: 1pm-3:30pm

 

The CTC offers after-hours crisis support to any UA student or any person concerned about a UA student. Professional mental health counselors are available when the CTC  is closed to assist callers with mental health crises. Counselors also can provide information about the CTC  or other campus resources.
