The Chaplain is available to assist students of all faiths to gather together and create community on campus through Marlin Ministries. The Chaplain’s Office provides an inter-denominational campus ministry of discipleship, service, counseling, hospitality and faith-related educational initiatives to students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of Virginia Wesleyan University. Students are invited to come by and enjoy the comfort of the Chaplain’s Office Lounge for conversation and fellowship. Marlin Ministries comprises several, student-led small groups including Women of God, Mens Group, LGBTQ+ Life Group, and The WILD Team just to name a few. These organizations host weekly meetings and events providing students the opportunity to worship and find support outside the normal worship setting.
